Ancient Future Pilgrimage

This summer, Pastor Scott will be taking a sabbatical, a time for rest, renewal, reflection, and revisioning. It is our hope that Christ Community will engage with the transformational practice of pilgrimage during this time. Here are ways to engage:

The Pilgrim's Pledge

To join in pilgrimage, we have both individual and collective walking goals.

Individual: Walk 65 miles over 12 weeks!

Collective: Our goal as a church is to reach 6,590 miles or about 13 million steps!

Use the Step Up App or the Connect Form to report your distance each week.

Psalms on Spotify

While you walk, we encourage you to listen to this Psalms Playlist on Spotify.

BLESS App: Bless you Neighbor

The BLESS app is an accessible way to pray for your neighbors. Join us in pouring into our immediate community.

The Home Stretch (August 17th)

On August 17th, 2024, we will collectively "complete" the last five miles of our Ancient Future Pilgrimage. This walk will be from the Global Ministry Center to Christ Community Church. There are several levels of involvement:

6:30 AM- Begin 5 Mile walk with Scott

6:40 AM- Begin 5 Mile Walk with Isaac

7:30 AM- Begin 5 Mile Bike with Silas

8:00 AM- Begin 1 Mile Walk with Sarah from Stone Pillar Vineyard

*All Walkers and Bikers will be shuttled from Christ Community Church lot 15 minutes before their start time

8:30 AM- Breakfast at CCC and Awards Ceremony

We would love for our church community to be involved and engaged every step of the way! Email destiny@cccoloathe.org for questions.
