The season of Lent begins each year on Ash Wednesday. This special day reminds us all of our mortality and kicks off a time of repentance and fasting. This year our Ash Wednesday observation on February 22nd will be "come and go" from 6:30-7:45pm for a time of reflection, meditation, prayer, and an opportunity to receive communion and the imposition of ashes.
Remember on this day, from dust you came and to dust you shall return. May this reality help foster a humility before God and others and a dependence on God's redeeming and sustaining grace.
