PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE | NOVEMBER 12
In Matthew 25:1-13, Jesus warns his followers to be prepared for his return. It's a confusing idea to them because he is present with them. "Where will he be returning from" they wonder. This type of miscommunication occurs in our relationship with people of other generations, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds. But Jesus' words and actions are directing us to prepare for the final expression of his coming kingdom, where every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord.
