We are excited to partner with our neighbor St. Mark's Lutheran this year to put on our first Northwest Community VBS! Volunteers, kids, and friends of Christ Community will be better together as we combine resources to embark on our quest True North!
This summer kids’ event, True North VBS, will be hosted at
St. Mark's from June 23 to 26. At True North, kids will discover
what it means to trust Jesus in a wild world! They will participate in memorable Bible learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, experience one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible
Memory Buddies to remind them of Jesus’ love, and test out sciency-fun
experiments they’ll never forget. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings.
Each night begins with a free meal for the whole family starting at 5 pm. The fun then begins around 6 pm with Sing and Play Peak and ends with Compass Closing, where we review what we've learned and how to take it with us. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 7:50pm. On June 26 we will end with a celebration program that all parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.
True North is for kids from age 3 (potty-trained) to 5th grade (just completed). Click here for additional information and to register!
